Adnan Oktar, aka Harun Yahya is a Turkish creationist who as you might expect, spreads lies and distortions to the uneducated in his homeland and beyond. Recently, this asshole convinced a Turkish court to ban certain Wordpress blogs because they hurt is feelings. In other words, they pointed out that he was full of shit and that he either didn’t know what he was talking about or is a liar. Amazingly, the court complied with Oktar’s outrageous request.

Pharyngula reports that this

fanatical nitwit wrote in to wordpress to brag about his accomplishment and demand that blogs that offend him be shut down, such as this one, and by the way, he’d also like all these blogs censored:

It sure would be a shame if someone echoed all those urls, and these anti-creationist blogs got more publicity and attention because of a stunt by Adnan Oktar, now wouldn’t it?

Since I’m pro science and anti censorship, I’m reposting the list in the hope that others will see this and repost the links, giving them more publicity in their fight against intimidation by superstitious pricks.  I’ll also link to www.ateizm.org because one of the Pharyngula commenters pointed out the refugee from the dark ages doesn’t like that site either.
