Psychic suspected in scams arrested

A 42-year-old self-proclaimed psychic with at least five aliases has
been arrested after allegedly tricking two Santa Clara County men twice
her age into forking over $450,000 in what prosecutors call a
“sweetheart scam.”

….an 84-year-old man went to see Blake, who was working as a psychic,
and “developed a close relationship” with her, giving her money, jewels
and home appliances, prosecutors said. Blake then convinced the elderly
man to loan her “hundreds of thousands of dollars” over seven years.

It’s pretty obvious to anyone with even half a brain that self-described
psychics are swindlers and it’s too bad you don’t see more of these
bastards taken down. Unfortunately, they only get arrested when they
get greedy and go for the big score.
